Fourteen Days of Love - Day 9

Hey there friends!  GOSH...I'm so late blogging today. I got home from Reno late last night and had to go to work today...so I'm behind!  I'm here now though and I have Day 9 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects!
For today's project I used the 2" X 8" cellophane bags and filled it with wrapped Hershey Nuggets...mine are gold because they are dark chocolate.  The silver ones are milk chocolate and that's what I have for my children. To wrap the nuggets cut your designer paper into 1" X 3" pieces. I used the Sending Love 6" X 6" paper pack. One sheet wraps 12 pieces of candy.
For the topper, I cut  a 2" X 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  I scored it at 2" and adhered it to the bag (which I had already stapled shut) with Tear & Tape adhesive. I folded a gold Metallic Doily in half and adhered it to the cardstock.  I punched hearts using the Sweetheart punch from a piece of Real Red cardstock and a piece of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. I glued them together by placing a dot glue from the Fine Tip glue pen behind a few of the gold dots so the glue would not show.  Last I tied a bow through the tag hole using White Thick Bakers Twine.  What a FUN treat!  You can fit six nuggets in each bag!

Well...now it's time to go cook dinner! Thank goodness for leftovers and leftover spaghetti is THE BEST!!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I love sharing what I do with you! Sleep tight and I'll be back tomorrow!
