Good Morning STAMPIN' friends! How was you weekend? Are you getting any closer to being ready for Christmas? I'm not...that's for sure. The house is decorated and I've ordered a couple gifts for my husband...but the kids...ugh!  It's hard to buy for adult kids, who all have good jobs....so my husband and I have decided to give them moments...adventures...memories instead of things! This is NOT an original idea, a dear friend told me that she does it for her son and daughter and I fell in LOVE the idea! Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday...we get to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior...the most important part of the season and we get to spend time with friends and family.  I love sending cards and giving gifts...It's the Most WONDERFUL Time of the Year!!!

"Make-It Monday": Card using your Stampin' Up! card stock scraps

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Remarkable You (139894); Birthday Blossoms (139471)
• Card Stock – Thick Whisper White (140272); Melon Mambo (115320); Flirty Flamingo (141416); Tangerine Tango (105117); Peekaboo Peach (141417); Crushed Curry ( 131199); So Saffron (105118); Pear Pizzazz (131201); Old Olive (100702); Soft Sky (131203); Tempting Turquoise (102067); Island Indigo (122923)
• Stamp Pads – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)
• Miscellaneous - Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends (144599); Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends (144603); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

     
Measurements:  

• Thick Whisper White:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2” and 1 1/2” x 5 1/2” and scraps for flowers
• Basic Black:  ¼” x 5 1/2”
• All colored card stock: ½” x 1 ½”

Instructions:

1. Glue the colored strips to 1 ½” x 5 ½ “ white piece to create a colored panel
2. Attach colored panel to the Card Base and add the black strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
3. Stamp flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black and color with Blends then fussy cut.
4. Stamp sentiment in Black and add flowers. Adhere one with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and one with a Dimensional.
5. Color a few rhinestones with a black Sharpie then adhere to the card front.

Remember, you do not have to invent the wheel to be creative, just copy this project! Did you make it with your own hands? Then you have created!
